“Beetwen salt, memory and horizon”.

Jenna Stone, Founder
Océano is a poetic and fragmented portrait of three men living on different edges of the sea:
Raymond, an old Breton sailor who remembers cod fishing in Newfoundland; Pascal, a salt harvester in Guérande whose gestures carry a thousand-year-old heritage; and Abraham, a fisherman from Las Coloradas, Mexico, who resists the tide of tourism and the loss of identity.
Narrated from the director’s intimate perspective, the documentary weaves together landscapes, silences and memories into a journey about time, resistance, and the desire to leave a trace before everything is washed away by the tide
